As the founder of Mike's Mission, she is passionate about serving teens and young adults after the loss of her 15-year-old nephew to suicide. As the President of the Board of Directors, she has tapped into her purpose by embracing her creative passion for communication and conflict mediation. She brings program development, leadership, as well as family and child engagement experience to the Board of Directors. 

In 2021, MaKethia Curtis became a member of the Board of Directors for Mike's Mission Inc. Serving as the Treasurer, she assumes responsibility for managing the organization's financial affairs. Her dedication ensures that the organization's financial resources are effectively utilized to advance MMI's mission. 

Tamara brings her dedication and expertise to the Board of Directors for Mike's Mission, where she focuses on the Fundraising and Program Committees. With four years of experience as a Little Rock Police Officer, she has gained a profound understanding of the value of life. Passionate about suicide prevention and community outreach, Tamara is committed to making a positive impact on the well-being of others.

As a member of the Board, Nikita serves on the program and marketing committee. She is the Dean of Students at Lisa Academy  High School. 

In 2022, Dr. Ready, gratefully accepted the invitation to join the board of Mike's Mission. With a deep sense of gratitude for the chance to serve her community, she is eager to extend a helping hand to those navigating life's challenging journeys.
